1. COMPOSITION

Each tablet contains:

Etodolac 400 mg

2. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM

Film-Coated Tablets

3. THERAPEUTIC CLASS

Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID) / Analgesic

4. INDICATIONS

Etodolac is indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with:

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Rheumatoid arthritis

  • Acute musculoskeletal pain

  • Other painful inflammatory conditions where NSAID therapy is appropriate

5. CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Hypersensitivity to etodolac, other NSAIDs, aspirin, or any component of the formulation.

  • History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic reactions induced by aspirin or other NSAIDs.

  • Active or recurrent peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal bleeding.

  • Severe renal, hepatic, or cardiac impairment.

  • Use for peri-operative pain associated with coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.

  • Pregnancy, particularly during the third trimester.

6. DRUG INTERACTIONS

Etodolac may interact with:

  • Aspirin and other NSAIDs

  • Anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents

  • Corticosteroids

  • ACE inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers, and diuretics

  • Lithium

  • Methotrexate

  • Cyclosporine or tacrolimus

  • Certain antihypertensive medicines

Patients should inform their physician about all prescription, non-prescription, and herbal medicines being taken.

7. ADMINISTRATION

For oral use only.

The dosage should be individualized according to the indication, severity of symptoms, and patient response.

Take the tablet with or after food and swallow with water to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.

Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

Do not take with other NSAIDs unless specifically advised by a physician.

8. STORAGE

Store below 25°C, protected from moisture and excessive heat.

Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach of children.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.
