1. COMPOSITION
Each mL contains:
Azelastine Hydrochloride — 1 mg
Benzalkonium Chloride — 0.025% w/v
Sterile aqueous vehicle — q.s.
2. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Sterile Ophthalmic Solution.
3. THERAPEUTIC CLASS
Ophthalmic Antihistamine / H1-Receptor Antagonist.
4. INDICATIONS
Relief of ocular symptoms associated with seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.
Helps relieve itching, redness, watering and irritation associated with ocular allergies.
Provides symptomatic relief from allergic eye conditions.
5. CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to Azelastine Hydrochloride or any component of the formulation.
For topical ophthalmic use only.
Not intended for treatment of bacterial, viral or fungal eye infections.
6. DRUG INTERACTIONS
No significant drug interactions are expected with topical ophthalmic administration.
If other ophthalmic preparations are being used, allow an interval of at least 5–10 minutes between applications.
7. ADMINISTRATION
Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by a physician.
Wash hands before use.
Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye, eyelids or other surfaces.
Close the container tightly after use.
Remove contact lenses before application and reinsert as directed by the physician.
8. STORAGE
Store below 25°C, protected from excessive heat and light.
Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date.
