1. COMPOSITION
Each mL contains:
Cyclosporine — 0.5 mg
Benzalkonium Chloride — 0.02% w/v
Sterile aqueous vehicle — q.s.
2. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Sterile Ophthalmic Solution.
3. THERAPEUTIC CLASS
Ophthalmic Immunomodulator / Anti-inflammatory Agent.
4. INDICATIONS
For the treatment of chronic dry eye associated with ocular surface inflammation.
Helps increase tear production in patients with reduced tear production associated with ocular surface inflammation.
Helps relieve symptoms of dry eye, including dryness, burning and irritation.
5. CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to Cyclosporine or any component of the formulation.
Active ocular infection.
For topical ophthalmic use only.
6. DRUG INTERACTIONS
No significant systemic drug interactions are expected with topical ophthalmic administration.
If other ophthalmic preparations are being used, allow an interval of at least 15 minutes between applications.
7. ADMINISTRATION
Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart, or as directed by a physician.
Wash hands before use.
Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye, eyelids or other surfaces.
If using other eye drops, administer them separately.
Remove contact lenses before administration and reinsert as directed by a physician.
8. STORAGE
Store below 25°C, protected from excessive heat and light.
Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date.
