1. COMPOSITION
Each mL contains:
Brinzolamide — 10 mg
Sterile aqueous vehicle — q.s.
2. PHARMACEUTICAL FORM
Sterile Ophthalmic Suspension.
3. THERAPEUTIC CLASS
Ophthalmic Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibitor / Antiglaucoma Agent.
4. INDICATIONS
Reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with ocular hypertension.
Treatment of open-angle glaucoma.
May be used alone or as adjunctive therapy when additional reduction of IOP is required.
5. CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to Brinzolamide, other sulfonamides, or any component of the formulation.
Severe renal impairment.
For topical ophthalmic use only.
6. DRUG INTERACTIONS
Concomitant use with other topical carbonic anhydrase inhibitors is generally not recommended.
If other ophthalmic preparations are being used, allow an interval of at least 5–10 minutes between applications.
7. ADMINISTRATION
Shake well before use.
Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) three times daily, or as directed by a physician.
Wash hands before use.
Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or other surfaces.
Close the container tightly after use.
Remove contact lenses before application and reinsert as directed by the physician.
8. STORAGE
Store below 25°C, protected from excessive heat and light.
Do not freeze.
Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use after the expiry date.
